Strengthening Families for the Future is a unique family change program designed to reduce factors that put families at risk and enhance factors that help families function well. The program is designed for children between the ages of 7 and 11 and their families.


New to Strengthening Families? Use this site to learn about how you can implement this program in your community!

Have you run the program before? Use this site to share tips and tools - tell others what worked well and what you would improve on next time.

How to use this site:

Join the site by selecting that choice on the tool bar at the top of the page. It's free and there is no spam. Each Friday you will get a Weekly Digest from Strengthening Families letting you know what is new on the site.

To add information: click the "easy edit" button at the top of the page. Type in your suggestions and comments.

To add a file click on "other buttons" .

To add a topic click "add a page" on the menu on the left of the page

i'm looking to implement this program into the community where i live, can you tell me how this program has been received in the Aboriginal communities? Where and how many communities have used this program? Are there any revisions or modifications to the program material that would be beneficial to our communities based on norms. cultural diversity, teachings etc..
